CMU OPENED WITH GENERAL CLEANING OF THE WHOLE STATION.

All the staff reported back to work on 4th January 2010 and it was a happy day to see each other in the New Year. We got a short welcome meeting where we resolved that all of us should get involved in cleaning the station. All of us, beginning from the director up to the farm worker have declared it a week of cleaning, and we have indeed cleaned. The compound was slashed and swept, the kitchen was scrubbed with its equipments washed and the dining hall and others like the children’s dormitories were also cleaned. With this, the New Year begun well for us because it was an exercise that helped us to work as a team, made the place clean and made us more free to one another.
This act of working together as a team is one of the ways that CMU will be successful. We are looking forward to having more of the work being done together in this New Year. Thanks to everyone for your support, we love you and wish all the best and a happy new year.
God bless you so much.
WELCOME BACK FROM CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Everything was expensive to the extent that the transport charges for most of the places from the city were tripled. Though people had to meet those expenses in order to have the holiday with their families. Most of the staff members are saying the holiday was very good especially those that went to their home villages. However, to some of the staff it was a difficult moment that they went through. On 23rd December 2009, the farm worker robbed many things from the station and broke into one of the staff member’s house where he stole his house hold property and disappeared that same evening.
Some of the property he stole from the mission includes all the children’s bicycles with their pressure pumps, money from the chicken project and a few children’s beddings.
This made us fail to enjoy our holiday fully because we had to follow up the case, report to the police and looking for him from the place where he came from. The police has not yet found him but we pray that he will be found and maybe we may recover some of our property. Please pray with us as we go through this time. Otherwise God has given us a gift of life and we pray that we will live according to his will.

CHILDREN HAVE GONE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
However, as the other children were happy and excited that they were going home, three of our children do not have any relative to go to. We have tried and got them foster families where they can be staying until the rest come back. We pray that God will put his favour on them and they find peace, love and joy in those homes. We thank God for he has enabled us to care for these children well throughout this year. Thanks to our sponsors, partners, friends and well wishers for standing with us financially, spiritually, morally and in other ways. Your efforts have made CMU what it is. God bless you abundantly. We love you and pray for you.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
We had a big pig slaughtered for the children on that day and they had to eat the pork even on Friday. Some of the children received gifts for hard work most especially getting good grades at school and those who did the best in entertaining the guests. It was such a joyful day for the entire CMU and the invited guests, whereby every one was blessed. The party ended at around 8:00pm then the staff and the children made a camp fire at the station up to 10:30pm when they all went to sleep. We thank God for making that day a success and providing for us. We also thank every one that participated in which ever way to make the day a success. May God bless you and provide for you always.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CMU children got their holidays
This time is good for the staff and the children. Many activities are going on such as counseling, gardening, cookery, music and drama, watching and many more others. All these activities have kept our children busy and enables them to learn more. The holiday has also helped us, the staff to find out how the children behave and discipline those with bad behaviours. Children have got more time to read the Bible and fellowship together as a family. This holiday most of the children are disciplined, we hope and pray that they will keep it up.
